Im at work and i keep looking at the clock and the time is going by way to slow. DO you have days like this when you just want to get home? I have so much on my mind of things that need to be done around my house and things that i have to go and get and today i have all that on my mind and the time at work is going so slow. I need to find a couple of things to do that will keep me busy for the next couple of hours. I have things to go here but its not going to keep me busy for two hours.

Although there are days here at my work just like you described, today is certainly not that kind of day. It is the end of the month, and I've been pushing parts out of the door as fast a we get them. I've been running around the shop trying to supervise people while I try to do my work. It's just past 3pm. And the cut off for shippers has already come and gone. I now finally have time to catch my breath, and eat my cold quarter pounder lunch. Tomorrow would be a slow day for sure!!

Thanks for sharing your views ..I too feel the same while I am at office mostly on Mondays...but as the week passes by I do not feel the same on Friday since I look forward to the day to end so that I can complete my pending activities at home.

When you find time crawls when you're at work then you know that either you have not much to do or that you hate your job. If you find your work interesting you'll wonder what happen to time. It really flies you'd say. So the remedy to your problem is to look for another job which is interesting and challenging and also suits your passion. Have a nice day.

Yes, there are days that I just can't concentrate on my work because I have lots of stuff to deal with back home. Why is it that whenever you're having fun, time flies by so fast, and when you want it to pass by quickly, it just drags on?

I remember those days before I started working for myself. Around 2:00 PM I would start to get really tired and bored with what I was doing, that was always when I would get up and go to the vending machines and have a diet Coke and some M&M's. I am not recommending that though. That is just how I used to get through the last 2 hours of the day. Now that I work from home by myself, I never seem to have enough time in the day to get everything done.
