I feel like I waste my time trying to get referrals!

The past week I have been promoting my referral links, created a blog, and been trying to get referrals. I spent a lot of time trying to get referrals and only received one. I don't even think the person is active after one day. I feel like I am wasting my time, and I should just do the work myself to earn something. At least when I am doing the work I earn even if it is only a small amount. When I try to get referrals I most likely don't earn anything because I barely ever get a referral and even when I do they are not active. I thought I was doing pretty good but after a week of trying I am about to give up. Maybe occasionally I will promote my links in places but I just don't want to waste my time anymore. I would rather know that I am going to earn something rather than nothing.

I myself have no success with referrals. So instead of getting referrals I just work on my own and if any paying site has only referrals as the main source of getting rewards, I don't join them at all.
You can't trust on referrals unless you happen to get some who are really active. Just like here at mylot. I have not even a single referral but at least I can manage.

I feel the same way that you do. At least I know I will earn something rather than nothing with referrals. I just spent way too much time this past week trying to get referrals and I only received one that is not even active after one day. I know it not be the easiest to do the work myself, but at least I will make some money.

I would suggest that you put the link of your blog on your profile so that others may see it. Facebook and twitter are the best place to place you links. One thing also, if you write something about a particular site which you are a member on your blog, you can create a discussion regarding this site here in mylot. This way people would look about the site and would most likely to land on your blog. Well then if they are interested they can join under you referral link.
You can also join writing sites which do not require much referrals in order for you to earn.
have a great day!

why don't you try gtp sites that way you can earn without having to have referrals. it's also enough that you can cashout daily. they are free to join.

I'm already signed up for a few GPT websites. I have been using them for years now. I have a few referrals but none of them are active anymore. It's just so hard to get active referrals that I feel like it is a waste of my time. I rather spend the time to work myself that way I know I will at least earn something. I'm not asking or expecting to earn lots of money from referrals, I just thought it would help and increase my earnings from doing it alone.
I used to have one active referral in Mylot but they quit and I don't know why. I'm not mad or anything about it, but it helped me out as well. I understand though because there was a good year or two that I was not active on here at all.

I must say that it is too difficult to have the referrals. At first you have to make sure that you really received the money from the earning website. Since if people who are fooled, they will not trust you any more. I know it is not your fault, but they may blame you since you refer them scams. It is better to refer the people who you know since they can believe you. After you have a good fame, then it is easier to have more referrals.

I have no luck with referrals. The one site where I did have a lot of referrals ended up shutting down. So those people were a little upset and really don't want to receive referrals. I just wish more sites would allow family members that live in the same house to have an account. Some sites do and I like that.

You need to have patience to see the results, I know it's bad and sometimes can take a lot of time and work to reach only a small number of referrals, I know that because I already done that. My advice to you is continue to work, but don't invest much money or time in this.

I have 8 referrals, but I have earned roughly $0.04 so far. So I think it's a waste of time to get referrals. It's very hard to get the people who can bring lots of income for us. So only try to earn through participating only. It's looking like you already made a payout.
