But no, we kept on going until we thought we'd drop dead from hunger. I am talking about the long road trip back home which really left us very tired and hungry. The road trip was more than 6 hours, then we had another 30 minutes via small boat. By the time we reached our destination our stomachs were churning. There would be another 20-minute ride by bus back home so we decided to just eat there because it was already very late in the evening. We decided to find any place selling any food. So from a distance we saw a stall which had food displayed on its counter. We headed to that single store selling food but without saying anything, my companion and I instantly backed out when we saw the lady tending the store (she was the only one there)who was plucking hair from her armpit!
Oh no! What was she thinking? That was the only place where we could have eaten since we were so hungry and tired at that, but no, we backed off because the only lady tending the store was cleaning her armpit right there where the foods were displayed! Yuck! We were so hungry we could eat anything, but not that anything! My companion and I were of the same mind without having said anything, we just walked away from that store.
Would you have done the same thing? Or would you just go ahead and eat because of hunger?

Yuk that was totally gross and unacceptable, does she really think she will do any business if she does that openly in front of potential customers? I would have been gone my friend, absolutely NO way would I have purchased anything from her, regardless of the fact that I was starving hungry. Could you imagine it, biting into something a finding a hair or worrying that you would, you wouldn't enjoy the food even if you had of purchased it for the fear. I guess health inspectors and hygiene doesn't apply to her.

Weighing it down, I think it will not hurt to eat sooner. I'd be more afraid of getting ulcer. I've eaten soiled noodles before rather washed soiled noodles. It just taste like the clean one.

It's just a scare tactic IMO. Bring your snacks next time.
