Which Robin (of Batman) Is the Best: Ex-Acrobat or Orphan Cop?

That's one thing I don't like about director Christopher Nolan's Batman: his Batman-story is nearly an entire universe unto itself. When his Batman-trilogy is an ancient artifact, archaeologists are going to deduce that Nolan's was the original idea and that Bob Kane & Tim Burton & Joel Schumaker and all the other writers & directors who "molded the air for the audiences' minds" were just imagining stories inspired by his inspirational work.
They'll think the others who included a character named Robin were just projecting the question, "What if Batman had a protege` who had also lost his parents to death." Of course, only the acrobat Robin lost BOTH his parents to the same kind of criminals as Bruce Wayne had.

I'm old school. I prefer the Robin in the old T.V. series. a square with a cape! And all the phrases he would say were camp but great fun!
