Thanks God it rains now.

It rained for a short time.. And starting to get hot again... Whew! I took about thrice already!!! Hihi!

It's raining hard here too. And it's been happening for the past three days. I'm not sure if the summer season is over though since it still gets so hot. Since I was a kid, my mom would always tell us not to go out the first few minutes of rainfall since the 'steam' from the ground isn't good for us. I'm not sure if this is a fact but we had avoided doing it. Besides, the smell doesn't suit me.

Hi fearless, I guess you are from the Philippines too. The hot weather is annoying. It makes me feel very irritated. I sweat though I am not doing anything. It makes me feel dizzy and weak too. Good thing, we always turn the a/c on every night. Last night, it rained! Thank God. I have been waiting for it to happen for months now. If I want to beat the heat, I just drink glasses of cold water then I take a bath twice a day. Sometimes, I just go to the mall for free a/c feel.

Yes it was actually raining as of this moment here in novaliches quezon city. rain helps to atleast it lessen the heat that we are experiencing from the past months. but the funny thing is that, here in our office we are literally experiecing rain coming from the ceiling because of the roof that's already worn out. if i'm going to describe it, it looks like we have an instant falls and it flooded inside our stockroom. hopefully it will be fixed before the rainy season approach. :)

I think because of too much and faster evaporation that took place..The cloud cannot anymore, so they just suddenly burst out even if the sun is still shining out so bright. Hopefully we can experienced this from time to time, some rainfall is really needed in this hot climate we had this summer.

Wow, so it rained, it is kind of blessing, after the first rain some unique scent comes out from surface of earth, i dont think it produces diseases as you say, the accumulated dirt has germs that causes, do you bath in rain water, try it is refreshing, will cure boils due to heat.

In my country it is not time for rain.but here we have some rain. It is not good for cropes which ready for harvesting. Hot is also necessary for good monsoon. But you enjoy rain in your country.

I knew the smell of that thing and yes it will just encourage cold to be captivated when you smell it. The heat that we experienced not only in our place but the entire world faces is due to the destruction of our ozone layer which was caused by some man's activities like burning especially those smoke made by the factories and also using air spray. It can cause damage to the ozone layer. And the result is what we called greenhouse effect as what we experienced now. If ozone layer will completely destroyed, how can the people survived then? Are there something that people do just to help save the earth? Can you cite something about it?

you know i was just complaining in belen's discussion one hour ago how come they have rain in makati, but not here in quezon city. now i can hear thunder so i really hope it does leads into some much needed rain later! we collect rainwater so we can use them to water the plants, clean the garage, wash rags, doormats and mops.

Philippine farmers are really happy about that rain for their plants will be rehydrate from the harsh sun mpre so, the heat stroke will be minimize. Thank God for the showering blessings especially for those who work eight hours under the sun.

Thanks God...the rain is a blessing. That's better we prevent some disease by preparing our body as healthy as possible. Consuming good food, do exercise, not to be tired, enough taking a rest, I think it could prevent us from being suffered from such kind of diseases, because of the change of weather.

I am so happy it also finally rained here in Batangas City. It's been super hot these past few weeks, and I've been praying hard for this. God is good, He gave it. =)

ya the rainfall in small amount will only create a lot of heat under the earth surface which will cause headache and other problems

Yesterday is really heavy rain almost like a typhoon. April is dry and super hot I'm excited for the month of May and now it's not yet May and it rained twice. My plants are all happy. Though the wind was really heavy I thought our house will collapse.

It's good to know that it already rained in your area. From time to time we also experience light rain and it also help to lower the effect of summer heat although generally, it is still hot. Well, anyway in just a few days, I guess it will be rainy months again. For now we just have to take extra precautionary measure in order to cope with the weather condition. Have a great day!

From what part of the Philippines where you came from? I just went last week from Tuguegarao City, the hottest city in the whole country and the heat there is really extreme and intolerable. Even if we are inside the house, electric fans wouldn't help. I was just about to faint when I stayed outside for an hour as we looked for a gift for the wedding of my friend. I told my boyfriend, I can't stand to stay in their place if the hotness will not decrease.

it is raining here too in the Phily due to tail of a cold front or something i'm glad it rained because it is such a fresh of breath air from all the summer heat that's been going on
