Does light have anything to do with time?

When travelling at the speed of light, the time stops. So for a photon, it is standing still waiting for nothing to happen. So if we try to accelerate beyond speed of light,at the moment we hit touch 99.99999% the light speed..we will be stuck in time. And won't be able to accelerate any further because there is no time.So we can't actually travel at a speed greater than the speed of light.Life as a proton is pretty boring.
So the past is gone forever we can't go back.Future never happened so its impossible for us to travel to the future.
Time travel fansTheres no hope.
Correct me if I am wrong.

I think light and darkness combined with the earths rotation have to do with time.

Oh there is time in other places too I was just referring to our planet.

So,you are saying that there is no time beyond our earth?
Uhmm...that is a bit too hard for me to comprehend.
According to you, time is just morning, noon evening and night, which is also correct.

Scientist have this theory that there is an energy source that can make travel with the speed of life possible, It can do time travel ,explore alternate universe and also travel to planets from other galaxies. This thing is called Anti-matter. They said anti-matter can do that. They were still trying to figure out how to get anti-matter, I heard blackholes are rich in ant-matter.
speaking of time travel. Can you imagine how fun shopping groceries in the past would be, everything will be cheaper.

They also say that there is no anti matter existing in this universe. If matter meets anti matter tremendous amount of energy will be released. You are proposing a matter anti matter engine which in theory can propel us faster than the speed of light.
But what about the moment when it attains c,the time will get frozen, there will be no further reaction inside the engine,so there will be no propulsion. It is doomed to be stuck at that time just like our poor photon brothers. For an observer the craft will just disappear from the universe.

Its going to be up to the inventor, They need a machine that can store enough anti matter, aside from anti matter, they will need hammer space,so they can store enough anti-matter.

Light itself has some very peculiar properties, as scientists are just beginning to discover. It can be described as consisting BOTH of particles (photons) AND as electromagnetic waves ... but not both at the same time. Some properties can only be explained by treating light as electromagnetic waves and other properties can only be justified if light is considered as a stream of particles.
Some experimenters have found that, if you consider light as a stream of photons, then splitting the beam in a certain way and doing something to ONE set of photons makes changes to the other set of photons which were not influenced by the external force. Moreover, these changes happen simultaneously. In other words, some kind of information appears to be transmitted from one set to the other in no time at all.

I don't how the signal is conveyed from one photon to the other,if they are splitted up
I never heard about that experiment, need to get more info on that. Thanks for sharing.
Dual nature of light must have some thing to do with it's velocity.
At those speed the photons might existing as an amalgamated combo of mass and energy.

With my first car at age 16, I discovered the connection between light and time!
When I took my girl out necking, we drove around in normal time travel until dark, and then we parked, and time too off like the speed of light! There was nothing boring about life as a proton in that time. You can trust me there,(her mother did!)
