Media has brought powerful forces to influence the viewers. But how far would we want our children be in viewing t.v programs that are not good for them. There is cited Parental Guidance for every program to be viewed for the viewers to be aware that the said program must be guided by some adult for the danger it would bring to some younger children. Sometimes we dont give importance on the impact of a particular T.V. program to children. We just think that its okay that they have some fun watching those. We dont categorize what t.v programs can be the most suitable for them. But are we aware of the behavior of the most younger children or pre teens. Do we ask ourselves, why in a sudden their behavior changes that we are about to get disgusted as we react on it. Are we giving the right teaching to some way of entertaining them at our absence?

Yes u are absolutely right, i know certain programs are never suitable for the children or youngsters to watch as it might affect them adversely. In fact i believe that categorizing such programs is a good way to keep their minds away from such program. Nowadays children know what is best for them so they should be matured enough to know how to behave when elders are not there at home.

Hi subhojit!
Precisely, some programs need to be regulated for some sensitive audiences . But young children need to be guided on how they react on some things displayed over the screen. We must remember that in one way or another they learn things on where they are exposed to. Just to bare in mind that they are not about to be mentally disturbed. .
