I am hungry, but we need to wait for my husband and my father-in-law, they are at the basketbell court 10 minutes away from our house. I guess we will have our dinner at 10pm, and we haven't a food yet. my father-in-law will be the one to buy our food after game.
Send me some foods, I am hungry

I can relate here since we ate late also. We went to the mall with my hubby and my father in law, my mother and my niece. Its something like a get together of my two families. Send you some of our home cooked meal..this are not leftovers thats for sure

It is very hard to wait for food when you are so hungry.
I myself would get a little nibble of something while I was waiting.
I am not able to wait, have no patience with my tummy rumbling.

I feel for you. I can't stand eating dinner pass 6:30pm. I love to have dinner anywhere between 5 and 6 pm. Anything pass 7pm does not sit well with me. There are times my husband does not get home early enough and I get frustrated because I don't like to eat so late. At 10pm if I haven't eaten I won't eat I would have a cup of tea and cookies or cake and call it a day. My husband always tells me if I don't get home early enough eat without me. I don't like doing that but if it happens again I will.

In that case help yourself with a light snack first. maybe that will help you get through until your in-law is back with your dinner.

yes i seem to agree with you sometimes things get really busy and i find myself not eating dinner at all or eating dinner really late. Sports like basketball do get really late especially on school nights.some nights on sports sometimes you just don't want to go for that reason.

Probably you could have some snacks or a drink before having dinner with them. Having to wait till 10pm is really late . And you are very fortunate to have a good father in law who would always send food for you

Hi, sis! My family and I also had a late dinner last night. Actually, we also had it at 10pm. I bought dimsum when I came from the mall in the afternoon which made them a bit full come dinner time. I thought that we would just be sleeping after a few hours, but my kids were feeling hungry by 10 pm so my husband and my son went to Andok's and bought a whole chicken.

If it is already late here, I just forget about dinner. I will just go to bed and eat tomorrow. I can always fix myself some warm milk, but then if my husband got me some really delicious foods, especially the ones he cooked himself, I might change my mind.

It is so sad...you have dinner late. But be patient, shortly you will enjoy your delicious dinner. I think your father in law will bring you a special dinner. i hope you be patient and have happy tummy immediately. Have a nice night.
