My father was rush to the hospital this late afternoon due to painful urination and dizziness. My uncle brought him in the hospital and called us to inform what happened. Good thing after putting catheter his feeling better now and not in pain. My husband told my sister to accompany my father here in the city tonight so that we can assess his condition and can able to seek a medical attention tomorrow morning. Maybe he should stay here with us so that we can monitor his health condition too. In few hours they will arrive here at home and can able to see him. Hope he's really doing fine. Have a good night!

Good thing he's okay now. It's best to have someone to take care of our parents especially when they are already very old. It's great that your uncle was there during those critical times. And that the hospital people are also good for assisting your dad. I hope he gets well fast.

Sorry to hear that your father got ill, but happy to know that your uncle took him to the hospital in the first place so that he could get prompt treatment from the hospital. My wife's grandfather used to have serious prostate problem in his seventies. He was diagnosed with hypertrophy of prostate. As he was old, the doctors gave him medicines for treatment without any operation. He was painful very often. It was terrible. For men, we must be careful with our diet to make the prostates healthy. I hope your father will soon be fine with the careful treatment by the doctor. Take care.

My father was diagnosed with bph 3 years ago and taking medications everyday, at first the doctor advised him to undergo operation but when we asked for second opinion the doctor said that he just need to take some medications for his bph. Now he's doing fine and i even removed his catheter yesterday afternoon. Thanks
