what truly makes a "good" movie?

frankly speaking i have only one favorite movie: Hollywood made! lol. i like watching movies as long as they are made in Hollywood. yeah of course i dont like all of them. im Tranformers lover, Iron Man, Avatar and even cartoon such as Brave or Monster Inc. yeah some of them are old movies but i like them so much. i watch Transformers and Monster Inc many times and i still love them. i like all of their features such as plot, story and else. they are so enjoyable to watch. im not a movie maniac but i do enjoy watching movies. now im looking forward Iron Man 3 and Transformers 4. cant wait to meet Tony Stark and Optimus Prime..lol..

For me the fact makes a good movie is it's good story.I don't like those which does't have any good story.Just by doing some action scene and comedy a movie does't get the "good" tag in it..

First of all I love the movies. A good movie to me is something with a good storyline excellent acting and something that touches me. Either making me laugh hysterically or sobbing. A movie that makes you feel emotions is a very good movie in my opinion. A good movie is a movie that you want to see again after just watching it; like for instance Djanjo Unchained. I loved this movie. I watched it and I wanted to see it again. However, it is a long movie so I have to find the time again to watch it.

Same as yours, for me a good movie should have a good and exciting plot, excellent acting by the actors is also a must. Although the sad part here is, sometimes even if a movie has a good plot and the actors delivered a superb performance, if they are not that popular, that movie tends to be taken for granted.

I would say a good movie is composed of 3 main ingredients. That is: 1) Superb Actors; 2) a good Director; 3) Unique Story. Even if it a low budget movie as long as they all that, I would definitely watch it!
