About the Internal audit, how to wirte the report to my boss?

I have acted as a financial accountant for more than 20 years , but i was unfamiliar with the internal audit, especial when I review with the account transactions and some business transactions, I found some problems and maybe some problems maybe very serios, but my audit report can't express the key point , my boss said, can you give me some advises ,thanks a lot.
