James Gosling was the one who lead with his team and discovered Java,Previous version of Java was named as "OAK".. And his team members were James gosling,Arthur Van hoff,Andy bechtolseim. Actually The word Java is an American slang word for "coffee"... When the team working on Java use to consume a lot of coffee for refreshing and hence the best producer of the island of coffee beans is also named to be as Java island.....
