Got a New Puppy to be Happy

My New Puppy - That's Kovu, a two month old puppy that's a mixture of Labrador and Rotweiller. Funny he looks like a gremlin to me, but he's actually a very funny doggie.

Yes, we needed a new puppy because our oldest dog has become sickly a couple of weeks ago. We named the puppy Kovu after a character in the movie Lion King. Our eldest bullmastiff is named Pumba. We have two bullmastiffs already, two huge dogs that we so love from our hearts. This time, we decided to add another one that would eventually grow to be something huge again. Kovu is a mix breed of labrador and rotweiller. He's so funny, so naughty, so voracious, so light and speedy and he's only two months old! I want to know if other certified dog-lovers like me can really be happy when they acquire a new puppy? Can you be as patient as I am in seeing how puppies behave, almost wanting to ruin everything in the house and yet you could really just laugh at them while shouting "NO" to them the whole day?

You will always love and welcome a new pet to your home but like any pet if you have others you might have the fights till they get to know each other good luck with the new puppy and sorry to hear that one of your others is sick

Thank you. Our oldest is now stronger and healthier after we got him out of the animal hospital. Despite his age of nine years, I hope he gets many more healthy and stronger years with us as we continue to give him his needed maintenance and vitamins.

I love dogs and my wife does so, but we both agree that one dog at a time is more than enough for a household. For me dogs are like children and they need all our attention. If we had two dogs or more, our attention should divide so all of our dogs benefit from equal attention from us. I think our dog doesn't get enough attention from us already, how to bring a new dog around? Both our previous dog and our current one were brought at home as small puppies - they both were about 7 weeks old. So I do know what a boisterous puppy means. Good luck with your puppy Kovu!
