well as they said there was a lot of texts back and forth and as they did not say how old the boy was I am sure I would have ground the boy for life not to even say the phone would have been taken away and the boy would have not been able to sit down on his bottom for a week as I would have taken a belt to his bottom for a long time then tell the father and I am sure there would be more

Oh wow I'm sure the person that sent the text probably got fired. When I send text I am careful who I send them too. The only time I probably sent one accidentally is if someone changed their number and didn't notify me. I however get weird text all the time with people thinking I'm someone else, it does get annoying.

I've never done it but I have been on the receiving end of that kind of email. I would get this strange email from someone I worked with answering a question I did not ask. I finally emailed him and explained the difference in the reply, and reply all button. No harm was done, the subject was not top secret or anything but he sure was embarrassed.

Hi inkyuboz, to avoid any unexpected consequence we must be very careful before sending text message. Some would make us embarrassing, some would affect the our peaceful daily life, some may occur conflict, etc depends on the content of the text Don't send message in a rush and we will regret if it sent wrongly.
Happy posting

I have heard of this happening before. I don't have a cell phone so don't do any texts. On Ellen she quite often shows some texting that the spell check put wrong words in the text that was posted. Some are pretty funny.

I am really confused as laugh on this thing or feel sad for the person who lost his job.
This is really sad, one needs to be very careful while sending such things especially related to office work or BOSS
Very recently i checked one article which said about 90% don't want their boss in the face book list and keep avoiding the request (but this is again difficult to avoid the friend request from boss)

I once sent a text to a guy I was talking to (this means we weren't dating but getting to know each other) a message I was sending my best friend telling her how I ignore his calls because he doesn't understand I have no time to sit and listen to his whining about his bonehead of a mother..
Needless to say, he didn't seem bothered by it at all...lol

I sent a text to my boyfriend stating I had finally told my boss about my coworker not clocking out for her kick boxing classes. Not that I wanted to be a snitch, but I was pregnant at the time and clocked out for all of my doctor appts, so I felt it was unfair that I was doing everything by myself for 3 hours while she was gone and getting paid for it. So I told my boyfriend I finally said something about it, that i felt bad but not really. Only problem was that I sent it to her! Ahhh

I haven't sent a wrong message to anybody by a mistake yet. However, my colleague's son made such a mistake. One day in the Valentine's Day, my colleague got a message from his son. And the content was something like Dear wife I love you forever etc. Whereas at that time her son was just a high school student. He was supposed to send this message to his girlfriend but somewhat sent it to his mom by a mistake. It is very embarrassing. And on the other hand his girlfriend might be mad at him since he did not send anything to her at that special day. But the truth is he sent this sweet message to his mom.

I can't remember exactly the words I mistaken sent to my wife instead of sending to my girl friend.
What I can remember now as it happened not long ago is a message sent by one of my officemates wrongly to his superior. She was chatting with one of our other officemates. They were actually back talking the superior. Worse about the wrong sent message was that she mentioned the word that they describes her as a witch. Worst, the name of the superior was also mentioned in the message.

I've only sent one text and it consisted of one word, "Okay". The text I get as well as the voice mails are from people I don't know. I read or listen to them and then delete them.
