Boring carrots and apples.
Raisin, carrot, cabbage salad with salad dressing.
Salads too without calorie laden dressing.

I crave chunk food alot. But when I just went to the store recently I didn't buy any junk food besides cookies/brownies to make as I am allowing one day a week for junk food and the rest I will eat healthy. I bought yogurt, bananas and a bunch of other fruit and veggies to eat healthy. That's what you could do also.

Corn/ popcorn is good option.
Go for Natural Carbohydrates products fruits, vegetables, dates, oats, curd, milk, honey will help you to come out of this carving. (curd and Milk is more of protein products, but such products actually work positive on our system unless problem of lactose intolerance.
I checked one article which said any product which has excess amount of sugar or salt will make our system really confused and keep carving for those things again and again.

I also love Cheetos. However, since i got pregnant, I had to stop it. Although, I am not that heavy muncher. Regarding replacements or alternatives, it's really best when you go for fruits rather than junk foods. They are boring, but they are far more healthier. Just munch with junk foods once in a while, but don't over eat.
Or, you may prepare your snacks on your own rather than buy.

i notice that when i eat nuts, like in the afternoon, i feel really full afterwards. (plus all that crunching sounds and your jaw muscles' action helps keeps me awake!)
the problem is imported nuts like almonds, macadamia, etc are very expensive in our country. i don't like peanuts (only the boiled ones with the shell) but even our local nuts like cashew, which i really like, are very expensive.
when i do treat myself on those imported nuts, i avoid the salted ones, of course.

Fruits that pass for finger foods or vegetable sticks can replace your junk foods. These are delicious picks that can make you healthier and good-looking. With some degree of self-control, discipline and determination, you can be delivered from your obsession for junk foods.

Vegetable sticks. Raw carrots, zucchini and cucumber are my favorites. Add in a handful of unsalted nuts and you're good to go. Junk food is loaded with fat and salt and sugar. The 3 things that get us addicted to food. That's why after you eat junk food, you only feel "satisfied" for a short period of time before you crave for it again. The truth is, you're getting absolutely no nutrition and therefore the body wants to keep eating to stay alive. It's starving at a cellular level.
I recommend that you watch the documentary "Hungry For Change". It will change the way you think about your food. I hope this helps. Good luck!

I'm planning to lose weight, that's also what I need to do.
When I am not hungry but want to eat, I just eat some fruits which are not too sweat, for example, apple, tomato,or cucumber.especially these fruits are crisp.
Just have a try.To keep a healthy eating way is so important.I believe We can adjust to that finally.
