Does your partner know about your online income activities?

Hello myLotters! Do you inform your partner about your income activities online? Do you tell your partner everything that you're doing? As for me, my husband knows about my jobs in oDesk. In fact, he was the one who encouraged me to join and seek for jobs online. However, he doesn't know about myLot and the other sites I joined to. I'm not sure whether to tell him about it when he asks. He's the type of person who wants to generate income fast and doesn't believe in putting a lot of time for a few cents. So if I tell him, he might discourage me and tell me to stop. Not that I want him to control me. I enjoy what I do online plus the fact that I'm actually earning from it. I just don't want to tell him about it yet until I have a proof that the sites I joined to actually works. So do you tell your partner about wht you've been doing online? :)

Hi friend, My wife clearly knows about my online activities, in fact she first started her online earnings activities and i am following her guidance. She is my up line in this site. Some times i feel depressed with my online work, at that time she will encourage me and give a new energy to continue my work

My husband knows everything about me, or more appropriately I tell him everything and it's fine with him. He lets me do what I want to do, and if I earn something from it, then well and good. I can keep the money and spend it for my shopping needs.

Like you, everything I earned from my online activities are solely for my own personal use :) And I'm glad that's the case and I don't have to share with the expenes. Lol! :))

You can put it that way. Lol! I just don't want him telling me to stop wasting my time on something which pays for a few cents only. Though earning here in myLot is secondary because I enjoy my stay here in myLot :)

My partner does indeed know all about my activites on-line that I do to earn money and he actually prefers and encourages that I do these types of activities. He knows that I do not like working "real" 9-5 jobs as it just brings me way too much stress and makes me unhappy, so with this knowledge he doesn't want me to work a "real" job if I can make money on-line. So instead he is working out there in the real world and allows me to earn money on-line and gets super excited when I tell him how much I've earned during the day while he has been at work. He doesn't get mad if it is only a few cents but instead says that it is wonderful that I am even able to earn on-line at all because a lot of people are lost causes when it comes to being innovative and earning on-line. My activities are fully supported by him and it makes me feel wonderful, even if I sometimes feel like it is not enough.

At least your partner is very supportive about it :) It gives a different kind of motivation to know that your partner appreciates and encourages you to do better on your online work :) As for me, not that he doesn't support me. I think he's more on "do not waste your time on sites that pays a few cents" and he prefers real jobs that pay. I think :)

Hi! My fiance knows about my jobs online as I don't keep any secret to him because I don't want him to have secrets on me too. Hehe. He just keep reminding me to be careful on joining any websites and as much as possible he doesn't want me to invest my cash online to earn. Anyways, it is still me who will decide as I know my job well than him and I've been into online money making for almost 2 years already. He also always reminds me to take care of my health as I have limitations. I love what I do and he supports whatever career I pursue.

My fiance dont believe in working for cent also but he know about mylot , he know its just like an hobby and not a income . I do have day job so spending time on earning sites is just something I do when I am alone and bored . My friends dont care much for these sites either , its just my little hide away for a hour or 2 each day .

My husband knows all about the sites that I use when I earn extra money. My husband and I both earn money online, but we don't use the same kind of sites. I usually focus on writing sites, and my husband earns most of his money or gift cards on survey sites. My husband talks about his sites all the time and he tells me how many surveys he still needs to complete before he is able to receive the next gift card or money in Paypal. I also tell him about my online activities for instance the discussions that I participate in. When I reach payout I tell him much I have earned and when I will get paid.

Wow. That's good! At least both of you are involved in the same area. And you have something to share too :) I tell my husband about my writing jobs where the employers pay me. I also tell him how much I earned for the week and he's very happy with my progress. Though he encourages me to look for more high-paying or hourly jobs other than just writing :)

Yes, I already told it to my boyfriend and he was amazed that despite my regular work I can still be able to do tasks online like Mylot. He is very supportive with me and really cannot believe . He teased me also before that he said maybe I am too needy of money that's why even cents I have the patience to pursue and earn for it. lol. I just said, I am also learning and I really enjoy this wonderful site.

That's good to know! :) We don't really have any misunderstandings. I just don't like him discouraging me about this since I think myLot does pay. So better not to tell yet until I can prove that $10 was credited in my account :)

Yes, he does. And he doesn't mind. He even tells me that it is better doing this online thing rather than using my whole time playing games online. Hahahaha He is not actually asking me the details of it but its a good thing that he's quite supportive in everything I do. He'd rather see me inside the house in front of my laptop than going out with friends...duh!

No, I do not tell my husband about my activity in mylot. I'm afraid of being asked to stop, while I'm enjoying this site. Someday when I prove that it is the right site and can be the device to earn living, I will tell him.

Hahaha! My husband doesn't know about myLot too :) He's not really into the whole forum posting hen earning a few cents thing.

I think you don't have to tell him everything unless when he asked about it. yet, not all things have to be known by your partner as long you don't have to lie to him right?

Hi Ayeeesha! :) I maintain all openness and honesty to my partner so whenever I plan or will try a new online job, I makes sure to consult him and tell him all about it before trying or joining the site. The advantage is that he can also do these jobs whenever I'm trying to rest, so he could use the computer, too because we just have one PC. I don't want to be nagged or questioned so I tell everything to my husband. I want to engage him with my activities so he won't have any to complain what I'm doing with the PC. Because before I got addicted to online gaming. Haha! Thanks for the discussion :)

I do tell him about my online jobs, just not the "side lines" because he has the tendency to think that it's just a waste of time. Nevertheless, he still supports me with my online writing jobs and encourages me to do better. He also wants me to look for other jobs where I can earn so when I don't have a writing assignment, I can still earn. But I think he's thinking more on a stable job, not the forum posting type :) Thanks for sharing! :)

My husband knows that I do work online but he really isn't interested and treats it like a joke. That's ok with me, if he doesn't know what I'm making he can't spend it!
