Hey there friends! Here am I again, I am now in my lowest point. My mind is wandering. I keep on asking God, Why is it that I am not good enough, Why is it that we are not that rich, Why is it that we don't have a great house, Why is it that I don't have a popular friends, a popular relatives. Why is it that s/he almost have everything in life. My mind is filled with why's. I keep on asking the things that others have. I keep on saying that a simple life is better, but now I had a change of thoughts. Have you ever been in this kind of situation? Keep me posted. Please change my insights.

I used to have that kind of feeling when I was a teenager. I was in my teenage years and I was the most bitter and jealous girl. There were times I blamed myself and wished I was never been born instead. But that was a long time ago. Now, it is normal for us ordinary people to envy the rich, but know that being rich has its own downsides as well as being poor. We don't know what kind of life they have because we only see the good side of it, that aspect of their life that they truly enjoy is not worrying about money. I know someone personally who, not super rich but does not have issues with money. He has money to spend for all his needs as well as luxuries. However I often hear him complain about not having peace of mind and many sleepless nights because of family problems. Boy, I was happy when I heard his problems with his own siblings, and I never wish I was in his shoes. We're probably not blessed with so many material things but we must realize that not all blessings come in monetary values. Look around you I'm sure you can find many reasons to be thankful just for who you are at the moment. You may not be the most perfect person right now, but you have all the time (another asset or blessing) that you can use to improve your life. I wish you all the luck in life!

well i did not experience those things because i learned to be satisfied with what i have.god will not give us anything that will put us into trouble.we cannot have what rich people have like an expensive car,if god gave it to us do we have the money to maintain it,to buy expensive gasoline to make it run where we go,do we have tha finances to register it and pay for its taxes.you see we dont have that because we cant afford to have it at the moment.all you have to do is to keep on working and save for the future and who knows, maybe in the future youre ready to get it then god will give it to you...

I'm also satisfied with what I have, but there's just a time that I can't help but wonder why is it that I don't have it.

whenever you feel like that just think that you are lucky that you not rich.because most rich people have millions of loans to pay which is the reason why they wanted more.

A friend of mine and I, sometimes made fun of it telling that we really are so grateful that we are not that rich. If we're that rich, we can't enjoy the best things in life.

I was feeling like this recently. On Facebook I saw my cousin got a car for her 17th birthday and I was quite bitter because when I was 17, I was living in a boarding house and was working my way through college. I was thinking that if it were up to me, we should be paid according to the hard work we do. If that were the case, I'd be very rich since honestly, I am probably one of the most hardworking persons I know. HOwever, what always gets me going is the fact that everything I have, everything I own, I worked for. Nothing was ever handed to me. I take pride in the fact that I work hard and reap the rewards, no matter how little the rewards may be.

Oh I went through that in college, everyone had fancy phones from their parents, and some had cars. I went to a private school so practically everyone had better things than me. The cell phone I was able to buy with my measly fast food crew salary was an Alcatel which did not have a colored screen, but I loved that phone. It was one of those things that were really mine. Those things given by parents, they're not really yours. The thing that you bought with your hard-earned money is something that you can be really proud of.

I'm also quite envious to my batch mate who do have an iPhone 5 as a gift from their parents, but then it's okay it would be much better if i will work for it.

I understand why you feel like this. I am at one of my lowest points right now as well. I'm currently having to take every dollar I have to spend on bills and it is still not enough. Things don't come easy, or free in this world. You have to work at it and maybe you are just being motivated or pushed to work harder, or change your life for the better. Hope you have a better day tomorrow and start to see some happiness.

I may have asked God about it but now I ask to just have a peaceful mind and heart. And I think that it is the only key to happiness and contentment.

its not our fault that we are born poor but its our fault if we will get old and die still in a poor situation, maybe you need to some action like finding a good job, invest and have a business or the old school to live within your means. Also if you think rich people doesn't have a problems in life then you are wrong again and I think each of us regardless the status in life has their own dealing problem but differently on how we make a solution and deal with the problem. I just hope you read a "Kurot Principle" that is now circulating on facebook, its a good read and I actually had that book

life is about hard work and belief in yourself who is capable of making things possible. if you have faith, that is also a powerful force to push your dreams and aspirations to reality. start from what you want. becoming rich and wealthy is not a good start. a good start is something measurable and doable towards becoming wealthy. for example, at the end of this year, i will have half a million in my savings. then, make it bigger every year. goodluck!

craziestqueenever Think about those who have it worse than you. Then ask yourself why do you have it better then they do?? It's an interesting way to turn around your thinking and maybe feel appreciative for what you have. I have a theory we all will experience everything..I can't say I like it but I think it's fair. What if each of us at some time experienced everything..being rich, poor, healthy, sick, happy, sad etc...something to think about...

Perhaps you need to go out some time my friend. If I know you personally, I would invite you during one of our outreach programs so you can say how blessed are you. Our cooperative is scheduling some visit to different organizations like schools for disabled children, especial children and other groups. If you will see this children with disabilities, you will say your are still lucky, you are normal, you have both eyes, you can hear, you can talk. Do you know that having a complete senses is one thing that we should be thankful of? By having these gifts, you can already say that you have been given a fair chance in this world. You might just have wrong choices. Reconsider your actions, evaluate and take a closer look. I have experienced the lowest point of life during my childhood days so no one can tell me story about it. Have a great day!

I cannot blame you for thinking this way and questioning why as I, too, has reached a point in my life when I was in the same situation you are in now. But hey, even the rich/popular ones are not happy. Why? Because there is one thing they wanted in life which money cant buy --- freedom. Freedom to do whatever you want to do , to do what you love and to live a simple life -- simple enough to say that you are happy and contented. Let us always count what we have and be thankful to God... let us not focus on what we have and questioned Him for not having a life we wished to have. Open your eyes and you will see that you are rich too, rich with friends and families who are always there to care and love you. Life is short. So instead of asking what we want, why not be contented and make the most out of what we have. Carpe Diem!
