when i was young it used to be my job to do the dishes especially since 'm the youngest sibling. my older sisters did the heavy job in the house like cooking, washing clothes, cleaning the house, etc. whether i liked it or not i had to do it cause it was part of my training.
now that 'm old i have an "assistant" who is tasked to do all these things for me but when its her day off 'm forced to wash the dishes etc.

yup scubapro... doing menial jobs during my childhood was part of my training to become a responsible adult. so whether i liked it or not it was my job to wash dirty dishes and utensils every after meals otherwise the dirty plates and utensils would pile p and we wont have anything else to use.

I'm the same way. I hate washing dishes right after I eat. To me, right after a meal is a time to relax a moment and kick back. Sometimes I'll save some of my beverage and chill in front of the TV with it for a minute. Other times I just relax a little. I especially dislike doing dishes in the Summer, but I get around to them when I can.

Ok I'm going to tell you from the headstart I'm weird. I like to wash dishes. If I'm at someones house for dinner I will get up and start washing the dishes. At home as soon as I'm finished eating I wash the dishes because once I sit down to relax I don't want to know about he dishes. In fact if I waited it would bother me to much knowing that the sink is full of dishes. So I'm the opposite of you I need to get it done right away.

I like washing dishes as long as there aren't a lot to do. I like to wash the dishes as soon as they get dirty. So if my daughter and I have lunch, I do those dishes and put them away after they have drained a bit. I usually go ahead and dry them and get them out of the way.

I am like you, PQ! I like to do the dishes as soon as they have gotten dirty so that I have less dirty dishes to look at. When they pile up, nobody wants to do them. I also like to get them off the drying rack ASAP so that I can add more clean dishes without getting intimidated.

I prefer to get the dishes done and out of the way. I have always been this way. I guess it goes back to when I was at home and there were 10 of us. the dishes had to be done right away. My son keeps telling me to just put them in the dishwasher but to me it is easier to do them right away.

Well, I don't know if I like it or not but no one's gonna do it except me. So I already set my mind that after eating, I have to wash.

I used to hate washing the dishes when I was younger but now, I have grown accustomed to it and it has become part of my daily routine to wash the dishes after eating breakfast, lunch and dinner. Besides, it's a form of exercise so I lose calories by doing it

I have been washing dishes for many years . However, ever since I had nerve problems on my hands my daughter or hubby will take over to wash all the dishes . I guess it will be good to help out any house chores as a family member.

I don't like to wash the dishes all the time either, nomatter when. But if there is nobody who can help me wash, then I will wash the dishes reluctantly, because I am afraid that some dirty worms will be shown on the dirty dishes. I like everywhere is clean in my life too.

I don';t think there's a moment when I like washing dishes. at least I'm lucky that me and my boyfriend swap turns when it comes to washing dishes

I find it ok if there aren't a lot and not very oily too. It is much better than ironing the clothes, that is the one which is bad for me since I find it hard to iron well, some parts always still end up wrinkled.

I usually do hate to do so Scubapro.
But now that we have moved to a nice place with a nicer kitchen, I like to keep it clean looking and tend to not mind to wash up after eating.

Sometimes, I actually wash dishes as I go - mostly if I am cooking and eating alone. I hate having to come back to a sink full of dishes after eating. And it's actually quite doable - when you're done with a utensil and something is in the middle of cooking, you've got time to do a quick wash.
If I'm cooking with or for someone else, we usually divide the tasks :)
