I just noticed... After Manny "Pacman" Pacquiao's shocking knock-out with Manuel Marquez, I thought other Pinoy (slang for Filipino) boxer would be inspired to bring down other opponents, like avenging Pacman's lost.
But one by one, they are all losing their titles. Next to Pacman is Brian "The Hawaiian Punch" Villoria lost his WBA and WBO flyweight title via split decision. I watched this fight and I really feel Villoria's opponent's giving him a lot of difficulty. He was so bruised. After Villoria is Nonito "The Flash" Donaire, who lost his WBA world junior featherweight title via unanimous decision. I also graced this fight and I was surprised the Olympian opponent won amidst 10th round knock down. Lastly, Rey "Boom Boom" Bautista was also dethroned of his WBO International featherweight belt against another Mexican. This fight was the most devastating of all others next to Pacquiao. Boom Boom cannot stand anymore and was sitting in the ropes that continuing the battle.
And so, the fall of Filipino boxers.
The ultimate question is - Can they bounce back? Regain title or retire? I wouldn't want boxing die in the Philippines. It's one of the sports I grew up with. It would be a lost to the Philippines.

Hi Maria, hopefully they can. Our countrymen are still supportive of them so I guess they'll continue fighting. Unfortunately with Mr. Pacquiao, he should've retired instead of fighting Mr. Marquez. They equally matched and has proven who's really the stronger fighter. He's more of a politician now than a boxer. But Filipinos would cheer another fight, before Mr. Paqcuiao retires. I bet my money on it (because I'm one of them, haha!) :)

Uhm... yeah... It's a very sad thing to know...
After the lost game of Pacman, I've never heard of anything and it really surprised me...
I mean... what the... is it already finished? I mean it's because one of the sports I always heard of before... but now... whew!
Anyway, I believe that we will or rather they will bounce back and regain titles!!! ^^

Regain titles, I repeat! Haha! I'm also want a final battle of Mr. Paquiao then he must retire. With Mr. Villoria, Mr. Donaire, Mr. Bautista and other Filipino boxers should try to improve their training, they should balance it with rest. I feel they have a lot of stress and it contributes with their performance. Hopefully the boxers can get their titles back...now! ;) Thanks for the response!

I believe that some good things never last, success if not taken care of will fade easily. This is sad story for our country, but i'm sure there always a person who will replace them. Let just hope and pray.
Manny should fight for the last time and regain his title, and after that he has the option of retiring from his boxing career.

Hi Jonas! That's what I would like to see Mr. Pacquiao do. Currently, he's more into politics and he definitely cannot concentrate on many things, so he has to choose. I am thinking of finally giving the chance to Mr. Mayweather Jr. or perhaps Mr. Bradley. But Mr. Marquez is already set to box with Mr. Bradley, so...we just have to wait and see. :) Thanks for the response.

Yeah that is really disappointing thing to see that the once our strong contenders seems to have fallen one by one in all of their bouts. I am still hoping that one of them would be able to bounce back again and be able to get back the crown they were once holding. As for Pacquiao I think he is preparing for another one this year and I hope he really would prepare for this and not be complacent as he was in his last fight.
