My dog is so weird!

Turbo - Turbo is sitting in my 5 year old's lawn chair!

We had a fire tonight and brought the dog out to sit and enjoy it. Apparently the dog refuses to sit or lay down on the ground, even though he was very sleepy. First, he squeezed himself into my youngest son's folding chair.. which he didn't even fit into. Goofy dog! So we brought him over to where hubby and I were sitting. We had 2 lawn chairs set up. I was poking the fire (I make better fires than hubby.. so I guess it's my job!) so the dog jumps up in my chair.. laid down, and fell asleep! I had to go get myself another chair. So here we were.. me, then the dog, then hubby each in a chair watching the fire. Well.. the dog wasn't watching the fire.. he was snoring away! Think I'll have to get some more chairs.. and maybe get the dog his own special chair! Does your dog have a special chair?

Our female dog is a nightmare. The others will sleep on the floor but she insists on shoving herself in between us on the sofa.

Of course she does! She has her own armchair where she sleeps when she doesn't want to be bothered. She usually sleeps on our bed, but when she wants to rest peacefully, without being disturbed, she goes and sleeps in her own armchair. It's funny that she doesn't like any strange person to sit in her armchair. When my mother-in-law came to visit us, our dog didn't let her sit on that armchair.

How is your dog feeling right now? I tried to respond to your discussion about the shelter and possible kennel cough but mylot shut me down. I tried to agree with you that I'd take him to my own vet as well. Not back to the shelter. Anyway, Annabelle's favorite spot seems to be the very last place I sat. She'll be one place and when I get up from the couch she heads for the exact spot I was sitting. Same goes for if I'm sitting in the floor and get up. She's a little dude.

It didn't work out with our vet.. we made an appointment for him to see the shelter vet on Friday since they already have a report with him and know how to handle him. I don't trust them per say.. but it seems our only option now. Everyone keeps saying the vet should have muzzled him.. well I didn't know that, but the vet should have.

Aww, my dogs do that when we have the fire pit on too! As soon as there is a free chair, they like to jump in and snuggle down. We usually try and just let them sit with one of us if they can squeeze in! Or when some people have left as we usually have friends over for BBQ nights, we just put their covers on one of the chairs and they sit on them enjoying the fire!

Our little dog switches between step mom and dad's chairs. Sometimes he will jump in dads lap and annoy him because he can't decide where to lay down. He usually settles for under the left arm or between the feet. If he is upset at dad, he goes to mom's chair and curls up under the blanket.

That's so cute. My daughter's mom in law has a schnauzer and he has his own recliner. There' are 3 recliners. One is for the dog. I love it when a dog can make himself or herself at home.

Hahaha! Too funny! Turbo sounds like he's too smart for his own good! Nope, my dog doesn't have a special chair. Then again she's so small, she doesn't need one! She just lays on whoever is sitting on one! Happy mylotting!

many animals have a special ability of predicting something unhappened. so if your household animals have some weird behavior, you should take a good care about that and to do something to prevent something bad happen.

The dog in my home is not a pet, it helps us protect our house. And it doesn't have any special chair. We give the bones to it.
