Your choice of music for reading?

I'm looking for good music to tune to while I'm reading. So far I've been planning to put Pride and Prejudice's movie official soundtrack on loop while I'm on my book. I know that many of you must be so fond of classical music for reading. What genre of music best suits you for reading or studying? I'd like to have recommendations as well.

Usually I like country music, but I cannot concentrate on my book if there is any music going at all. If I am reading, everything has to be completely quiet.

I mainly like ambient, downtempo, or post-rock, played softly, with my literature. Preferably no distinct vocals (no singing), because it would draw my attention away from my books. I suppose that classical music isn't bad either.

I think Betoven and some like him are the best for reading and studying. And maybe some nice jazz or even blues. It's all good some more obtrusive than others.

When I am reading, I prefer soft music without any singing. However, most of the time I do not switch on any music because the TV will be on. As for studying, I like to do it in a quiet place. So no music or TV.
