For Me It's Just A Number.

the mark of the Beast is going to be something that will track everyone. You are not going to be able to buy or sell with out it.. It will be placed in the hand or forehead........ And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name. Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six. What will the mark be...could it be the micro-chips that everyone is talking about implanting in us....Could it be some kind of tattoo. Could it be some kind of badge...We will just have to wait and see.... Who is the anti-christ and the false profit.....Who knows they have not showed them selves yet..... But the Bible says that all that do not worship him will be jailed or killed........Their is only on religion that i know of that kill people that do not believe as they do. That be-head people...that jail them for speaking of other religions....Could the false profit come from this religion.....Or could it be the pope like alot of people think.....Who knows we just have to wait and see..He will show himself someday....and i believe it will be soon.

I agree with you on this. It is only a number. One of many. And besides, who figured out that 666 is the devils number? What a moron that person was. I find the bible to be all myth anyway. Nothing in there can be totally proven. It is like alien sightings or abductions. No one really knows if they are real.

The only time I'll fear 66 & 6 is if they come at me with a stamp, tatoo needle or behavior modification and tracking technology administered via needle or some such! But even then I think I know the signs left for its occurrence.. how Jesus said "when you see Jerusalem surrounded by armies.." and "when you see the abomination of desolation set up" (666, likely 1st in Israel?) "in the holy place.." And then there was the counting of days by the prophet Daniel.. and how coincidental that he discovered a very important and pivotal counting of days for his own day! by reading the prophet Jeremiah! Daniel wrote in ch 12, verses 11 and 12.. roughly 3 (Hebrew?) years and 7 months after they take away the place of daily prayers in Jerusalem (wailing wall?) the abomination of desolation will be set up, blessed is the one who comes to the 45th day of it.. jes sayin'

I think it is a symbolic number and nothing to fear in day to day living. I think it depends on which form of numerology you are into if you are into any at all.

That's good that you can feel at ease with the number however, because of the Bible, I can't feel at ease with it and will ask for a different number if I should ever run into it. Just like the number 3 at the very end of a series of numbers gives me the creeps and I'll ask for something different because of things that have happened in my past. 3 has never liked me and it never will and thus, I return the feelings right back! lol

Hello my dear Danish Canadian, I don't believe in good or bad numbers either. Like with any superstition, it only means something if you believe in it and thus give it strength to mean something.

I think that 666 originated during the time of Nero. Anyway, so many folks in a church I used to go to would get all bent out of shape if that number came up in their daily lives. I don't. To me it's not a sign of the devil because I don't give that much credit to the devil to think about him. The devil has no power over us unless we resurrect the devil into our lives. Satan is defeated.
