Do you manage to go in the church every Sunday?

Hi everyone. Please don't get me wrong by starti8ng this discussion. I know for a fact that everyone of us are busy everyday. Like me, I am working 5 days in a week with a weekday rest day. Yes, my rest day is every Monday and Tuesday. With all of the things that you are doing in a week either you work in the office or home based, I guess my question is do you still manage to go in the church every Sunday?
Well to be honest with you, sometimes I just can't manage to to to church anymore during Sunday. I work at night so I usually go home Sunday morning and believe me, it is very difficult to be in the church without having some rest, I have tried it one time and to tell you honestly, I don't understand what the homily is all about because I am sleepy that time. But I am making sure that I can still do my church visits during my rest day. How about you?

Honestly,I go to church once in a blue moon when I have all the time in the world to go every Sunday. I will understand what people could think of me.

But of course we wont judge you by that. We cannot tell a persons spiritual relationship with God if he/she only visit the church once in a while. You have your own reason for sure. Maybe you are just busy with work or what not. Thanks for the response..

I do. My relationship with God is my priority. I believe that everything in me right now is a grace of God. I want to respond in love because He loved me first. Whenever I have a problem, I ran to Him and so in gratitude I make my Sunday for HIm. You are right that there are some priest who delivered a boring homily. I felt asleep a dozen time but during the entire mass, I pray sincerely and sing actively because I am offering the mass to God.

Good for you then. I myself would really want to spent even like an hour with God every Sunday. It;s just that my job wont let me to. But in spite of that I still manage to have my church visit even it is in weekdays.. Thanks for the response

Hi,
I belong to the work sector where Sunday is a non working day so I always make it a point to go to church on that day. Recently though, I am beset with heavy work schedule so I devote all my time to accomplish the task ahead of the deadlines. Then when the managed to ease off, I use my Sundays to make up with lost time with my family going to the beach or just hanging around the house so there are Sundays that I can't attend church services.

Thank you for the response. Well, time really matters. At least you have your time with your family even you can't go in the church.. As long as you still consider he has the big part in your life.. He would understand..

I admit, I am not a very pious person. I don't go to church every sunday. But sometimes I do. Oftentimes I forget and I get too lazy to go to church. part of the reason also is that I can't understand the homily. My attention span for that is limited for some reason. The church makes me very sleepy too.
