Whats the difference in a photographer and a photo lover?

Many of big camera companies have taken the time to improve there product just to up there markets sales, like big and super big mega pixels aluminum body weather sealed units GPS and WiFi, some of the cameras now are capable of taking a picture under water
and even in so poor lighting conditions are capable of producing bright and colorful picture. Do we really need all this?

I suppose the main difference between a photographer and a photo lover is that a photographer takes photos and a photo lover just likes looking at them.
Most people are a mixture of both.
As to the extra features on cameras, it's a simple case of buying a camera that suits your needs and ignoring the rest.
If you are a keen and regular skuba diver and want to show your friends all the beauty you see while diving or wish to sell your photos, you need a waterproof camera with all the extras.
On the other hand, if you live 500 miles from the sea and just want to take a few shots occasionally to remind yourself of the flowers on a sunny trip to the park, a basic camera is probably perfect.
As the saying goes, "You pay your money and take your choice".

I think every body loves a good photo its our own little way of saying that we are here and we like it, I'am not a professional photographer i just love taking photos, but in my years of experience we don't need very expensive gears just to have a good picture we just have to take the fun of it.

@ajithlal- its all there is, like you said you like photography and that it. The love and fashion of a good picture and how to achieve them is all we need. go out and just take them capture whats good in your eye and remember them remember what you felt when you took it.:)
