Is this what they call love?

Hi, I was inloved. But to a wrong person. to be straight I was inloved to a priest. I know its wrong. He must focus himself to God. But whatever I do I was still inlove with him? There is one time in his homily he said "To love is to have pain." I am in pain now. Is this what they call love even though I know its impossible and I was hurt I still continuously love him?

unrequited love is definitely painful. i sympathize with you. i suggest that you go to a different church to hear mass. avoid contact with him. if you keep on going to his parish church, then it will be hard for you.
