I watched this US show where wives and mothers go to extreme, e lengths when it comes to couponing. I mean, they cut a lot of coupons, buy a ton of food at the grocery store and keep everything (well almost) of the things they had. They don’t pay a single cent because everything is paid for by the companies.
Personally, I have nothing against the practice. Would be really helpful if I can do grocery without paying a single coin. What bothers me is the extreme amount of food on discount. I think I remember a lady walking away with 14 boxes of cat food because it was on sale (food was for the family cat and perhaps for the local shelter). I think my mom will give me a hard look if she saw the quantity of food or products that comes with the discount.
For mothers and wives, if we practice this in our country, it will be a flop or a hit?

I guess there's nothing wrong in getting huge amounts of food from coupons and not paying a single cent. It's just sad that we don't have this kind of system here in the Philippines. It would help a lot of people if they would have coupons to last them another day. I wonder how those coupons actually benefit the companies that gave them.
