i am a chocoholic so i prefer chocolate cake..but i make trifle using chocolate cake base and second layer of fresh fruit and top with custard and garnish with fresh fruit slies and fresh cream. yum yum

I love fruit cake but don't like dark fruit cake and cant stand the glacéed cherries .When i was pregnant i craved fruit cake with banana and fresh cream don't know why as i had never had it before it is really nice but rich i sometimes have it now but only a little cream

Give me chocolate cake over fruit cake any day. I've had fruit cake and it was OK but it doesn't even come close to a good chocolate cake.
