What are these other places we can make $10?

In the alert this morning about the changes here on Mylot they mentioned that if money was the reason for being here on Mylot that there were many other places on the internet where we could make $10 a month. So does anyone know what those other sites might be? I know of Bubblews and have reached payout with them and will continue there but does anyone know of other money making sites? Besides PTC's. We all need extra money and so maybe if we put our heads together we can find some other sites to take up where Mylot left off. Any ideas?

Yes life is upside down for me also as I could get extra money from myLot. I think there are no other good sites that do pay as myLot.

I can make more doing surveys than I can on myLot, spending the same amount of time, more or less.

If you are looking for continous income then the content mills will be your best bet. Sites such as Textbroker, Iwriter, and other similar sites will earn you more than $10 a month. I always thought that this was a far better way to earn from your writing efforts than writing for 1/10th of a penny. The only down side is that you must know your grammar pretty well and be able to create content on any subject or topic fast and correctly. If you can manage that then you can earn 100's a week, month, ect.

Yes, that is true. I just have to be careful. I didn't like iwriter because when i asked for clarification on what was expected on a task I never heard back. So I don't write for them. Their information is so scant a good portion of the time in my experience.

I am still not exactly into all of these things yet. But i did write one article for iWriter and it was accepted and i also got a 5 star rating. Took me one and a half hour from start to finish to write it. And now i have $2.44 sitting in my account. It wasnt so hard. The thing is that i plan to work a little on iWriter this month. And i dont think i will ever ask for clarification. I will write based on the instructions they give, what i think they want. If the requester accepts the article, cool. Otherwise i can put it up for sale on (There is a website, cant remember the name now) or i can put it on some revenue sharing site. So either way any article i write will sooner or later bring in some sort of income...

LegalAlien, you are so right, most writers who write for content mills recycle their rejected articles. Some post them on article markets sites like constant content and as you stated content farms too, such as hubpages, expert column, etc. You could never earn $2.44 here at mylot within an hour of writing. This is why I'm looking for ways that saves me time so that I can create more content.

celtic, That is my thing. While many of our friends were here for the companionship, I was as well. Now of course I was also here for the earnings, as up until now it was a trusted site that we could always rely on. Sure there are others out there but to what risk? I like laid back sites like mylot and bubblews. I need something like that. I work for a living, when I work online I want to relax, not feel as if I have to churn out content I dont' feel passionate about.

I know of a couple other sites like this one but they are strown with foreigners and you can't understand what they are saying. Very frustrating. And more of a messageboard set up that I don't care for. I am very unhappy with what Mylot has done. They said a while back that this change would give us new money making opportunities and it is doing just the opposite.

I didn't get the alert, that you are talking about, maybe I can look around here on Mylot, and find the alert, that you are talking about, if Mylot is not a way to earn money from any more, than I will be leaving here for sure.

The alert should be up in the left hand corner of your page when you come onto Mylot. And if not go to the interest where it says Mylot on the task bar.

I guess I will give Bubblews another chance. It didn't quite catch me. I guess because it's a different set-up which takes getting used to and time to look around to familiarize oneself to a new site. I'll go back there and post more. It's just harder to see your responses. MyLot set the mould while others have tried to copy. Now MyLot is stepping back so the others can pick up the slack.

Mylot will be good for those who like to recopy Facebook or Myspace. It's pretty sad what it has decided to come down to.

I also think that there any sites that pay like myLot. Some I spend lots of time in some sites and earned nothing while I think myLot always pay for the time we spend here.

Ya, I am really disappointed with the way they have decided to do stuff. Obviously money means more to them than keeping their word to us. I was looking forward to seeing the new ways to make money on here. And now nothing......!

What a day, huh? I am still recovering from the aftershock of this arrogant outburst and I wonder who wouldn't. I am a member of several Chinese survey sites which I don't think you will be qualified and I would really like to join a similar site like the soon to be ex-mylot. So, I wouldn't mind if I could get any tips here too.

If you want to send me a PM and give me your email address I am planning to make up a list of sites I have acquired over time on here from other members. I am going to be checking them out and will give them to a selected few to check out too and see if they are something the friends I am made on here might be interested in. If you wouldn't mind giving me your real name that would be nice but not if you are not comfortable with doing so. I would like to stay in touch with some people and you are among those. Hope to hear from you.

There is no discussion forum like mylot out there can get give you the hope of earning around $10 a month, as far as i known. It is quite a disappointment Mylot decide to cancel the earning program after the new design site is up running, we won't be able to make few bucks each month anymore, on the contrary, mylot can save million annually from payment to members. One man loss is another man gain. Sigh!!

I am on Gather and Bubblews. Gather was sold to another company and they are in the process of changing over everything so that the site is down right now. Over there 625 points equals $10. Of course they only pay folks in the US. I don't know if the new company has any plans on stopping the pay or not but it has been said that they are not. Bubblews seems to be the best thing going since sliced bread. I hope it continues.

I had forgotten about Gather. Haven't been on there for months. It is so slow to earn on there though. It may be like Mates gate after the change. I didn't work much on there.

Hmm, I think that if you're into writing articles and or find out how to write a decent blog and get readers, you'll make more than 10 dollars. I think the problem is finding a site where you can earn 10 dollars for writing things that aren't very interesting :-) Since they've been paying for all posts here you don't have to consider that much what you post. I've made some money on pictures and on surveys. I think surves are quite good for Americans, not so good in Europe (possibly better in the UK than here).

Hello there! There are a lot of sites available. You can do freelance jobs and it does pay. You can also review calls via Humanatic or transcribe at TranscribeMe. Online writing is also a good source of income too :)

Ah, good one! I wonder whom they consider their biggest competition! I am considering going to Bubblews now . . . but I'm only in the thought process at the moment. I've seen other writing sites, but haven't tried them out yet. NOW is the time to jump into them I guess! I am considering writing articles now . . . I mean, I love this free style writing stuff like we here, but I'm going to take a shot at articles now. I do go to Swagbucks other than here . . . I can make at least $25 in gift cards per month there. You can get paid via PayPal, but it requires more points, so I figure I can always use Amazon somehow. I'll be researching too and checking back on your discussion here.

I have an account with Postloop as well but Im still not familiar on how the site works and how you can generate more earnings. You can try Pickjack, it is a legitimate site although you can only earn a couple of cents in a day.
