My daughter had her first practice today because she is going to be participating in her First Communion next week. She is growing up so fast. It's funny how I miss the baby days, even those first few months when she drove me nuts because her days and nights were so screwed up. She's my baby.
Anyway, the lady in charge of everything said she did really well during her practice. Of course, I tried to find out if I had to be there for the next practice. A parent also will be participating during the communion. I'll be there during her practice because my husband is a OTR truck driver. It's hit or miss if he would even be home to watch my boys. I need to talk to my mom to see if she'd be able to watch them for me during her practice.
I asked her if my older son would possibly be able to take CCD. These are the classes my daughter is taking at the church about the Catholic Faith. My son is developmentally delay and somewhat wild, although he's better than he use to be. She said that they have classed for students like him. They just start them a little earlier. Maybe it's to get them use to thing. I don't know. I'll have to look into things when we're getting my daughter set up for her classes next year. I just wonder if they'll require me to be there with him.
