What would you wish to do before it gets too late?

I have been thinking what am I going to do with this life now that I have crossed the golden fifty? I am neither young nor old and there is still so much of life ahead of me. Just thinking positive to pacify myself. Once we reach half a century our physical strength is fast going downhill but the heart and the mind remain youthful.
I always dream of visiting places before I am really too old to travel. Visit the Great Wall of China, the Taj Mahal,Eiffel tower, Big Ben, Niagara Falls are all good desires. But it would take some planning and quite a fair bit of savings to get there. Should have thought about it when I was younger but then there were priorities to attend to. When one get older and less flexible it is not a great time to start thinking about missed opportunities.
Last but not least, a personal question for counterparts of my age do you have a secret desire to wear a two-piece bikini? This is definitely something that you should try out when you are in your prime. Not a great idea to think about when you have started to hold in your tummy and prop up your bosom!

I would like to see my dear Mother..which I am fervently planning on hopefully in the next few months.
She is out of state from me and is elderly..so there is the need and desire to see her.

@SIMPLYD I have been waiting for the time when I am liberated from all the obligations of raising the kids and freeing myself from the clutches of debts and the right time has finally arrived. I'm itching to go on my long deserving holidays, the first will be Bangkok come December 16. Will be there for two weeks with my daughter and. to also usher the arrival of my new grand. My son is married to a Thai girl and this is to be my second visit there. .

Hi there! There is no harm in nurturing such desires and if we do not desire how would we be able to fulfill those desires. Wearing a two piece bikni is not an easy task for every one .........lol! Women are figure conscious and not everyone would go for it.

Hi dpk , at last you found the way to comment in this new mylot format. I surrender when it comes to wearing skimpy clothes and what more wearing a bikini in this very conservative society of ours. I can only envy those who have hourglass figures in bikinis.

I'm only 29 and still have desires to see more places and revisit places of the past! By the sounds of it, you did what you were supposed to when you were younger. When my husband speaks of trips to Jamaica and Greece and the Bahamas, just the two of us, I remind him that we will get our shot (hopefully) at our "2nd lifetime". Right now, we have kids to raise

DEAR zandi
I am 67+ now i still want to travel but because of diabetes neuropathy, flight is not permitted, well each man or woman has some secret desires like say wearing a bikini or a small size bra over big melon size boobs, many do in closed rooms or in bath room

Health problems are becoming an irritating and nagging issue once we gain our honorable senior citizenships. I maybe slightly younger than you but I too don't enjoy a clean bill of health. Fortunately my doctor has not banned me from traveling yet. When I still can travel I will do so before I am grounded.

My husband will be 54 in July and I'll be 49 in August and we're just now getting the things we've been wanting to do to our house and saving up for trips that we want to take. One is to take a Disney cruise because I love Disney a lot, another is to go to Disney world for we've never been there. Also hubby has been to Germany and seen some really cool things like castles that are thousands of years old and he knows I like things like that so we plan on going there. Like I said, we PLAN on going and doing all these things but will we is the question!
Now about the bikini idea, yes I do wish I could wear a bikini like I used to WAAAAAY back when I was 17 but nope! Not anymore and haven't ever since because of having surgery, it cut my muscles and the damned doctors didn't reattach them. I could have it fixed by a plastic surgeon but why go through all that pain for vanity reason? Oh hell no! I'm happy enough as I am thank you! lol

Hello My friend zandi458 Ji,
After struggling for an hour, I could get how to respond your discussion. In fact because of many reasons, i was almost starving for your company since 7-8 months. Recently I found without my excess to transfer, my account got credited with some AMOUNT FROM PAYPAL . I wa sjust astonished.
Anyway travelling has been my hobby, and I wish to explore new places. I have visited Niagra in 2003 and taj mahal nmany times. I am tied up with my partner. Professor is too young, my hubby has crossed 76 and I am completing 70 yrs. Recently we roamed in Utaranchal hills, seeing Himalayn ranges, living for 15 days among dense forest.More than me, my hubby is interseted. Take care. Please tell me where to find myLot guide lines.
Have a nice time.

I never wore a bikini...but did wear a 2 piece suit in my 18's and 20's but after having my children I chose the one piece suit! When it comes to wishes[ what I could have done]and never did I guess I have no regrets I did what I have to do at the time sure I had my dreams but life got in the way and I got swept by the current and I decided not to look back on things I can not change but I know is never too late to do what you like if that is your desire!

What I wish for is very simple, just to enjoy the rest of my life. Sometimes I think that the first hafl was not so great so I am hoping to revamp and hopefully get into the enjoyment of just living.

I have two places in my bucket list that I'd really wish to visit - Petra, Jordan and Cappadoccia, Turkey. I also have skydiving and parasailing in the list.
