Hi everyone!
I just wanted to let you know that I will be leaving for Thailand next month. I have looked forward to this for several months. Only problem is I waited too long on getting the tickets. My brother was able to find a decent fare from Seattle, but he told me tonight to hurry up and go to this one site before the price went up to get to Seattle. I got to the site and the price was still fairly low, but apparently the first time I entered my credit card info, I didn't put it in right. When I put it in again, the price had gone up to more than what I had available. I then went to priceline and put in a price that I could afford, but it was a little less than any airline would accept, but their counter offer was still less than what I had available so I took it. So now I will be leaving here May 6 and returning June 20. I really look forward to some healthy eating for the trip. I really hope that I can take a lot of good pictures as well. Talk to you later.

Where in Thailand that you are going to travel? Is that for the tour? Is it your first time to travel in Thailand?
I went there last March 21 to 24 and it was so hot that I can't even tolerate the temperature. But despite of it I was able to enjoy roaming around like in Grand Palace, Dreamworld and Elephant riding at Ayutthaya. I wish to go back there again and roam in other places that I've never experienced.

I went there several times during school breaks when I was teaching English in China. In January and February (I was there in 2007 and 2008 and it is nice at that time of year) and once in August and it was hot then. I still liked being able to be on the beach in a tent or a bungalow (one was on an island and the other was along a river). I will be going for about 6 weeks this time as a break from the chemotherapy that I have been undergoing for the last two years or so and to visit family. I really look forward to this trip. I will fly to Bangkok and then spend some time in Pai until my brother and sister get there. I'm not sure what I will be doing after that. My sister only has a couple of weeks before she would have to return to Alaska, but my brother will be there most of the time that I am I guess. I can't wait!

I have been there a few times and I really liked it. I'm not sure where all I will be, but I do know that part of it will be in Pai and some in the south. I will let you know when I know. Have a great week!!!

I hope that you have a lovely time there, Debbie, and that you don`t have any mayor health problems during your trip. I also hope that you find some alternative medicine to help you out. I know that you will try to find something like that while you are visiting. Take pictures. Happy trip!!!

I hope I am able to make it there. I went to look for my passport when the cleaners were cleaning my apartment and I couldn't find it anywhere. I'm sure it will all work out in the end. I just don't know HOW it will work yet. Thanks.

I see that today you left from the United States to Thailand. I hope that you will have an excellent time there. Hopefully it will be delightfully sunny and you will be able to take many photos. I am off on my trip to Eastern Europe later this month.

sounds good. I had a lot of ...excitement...over the last few days. I will actually be leaving the states today so hopefully all will be fine now.
