I think myLot is doing myLotters a favor..

Looking at the reaction of members yesterday, i thought no one would stay here.But there are actually lot of members who mentioned that they are staying including you Vandana. I am staying too, looking forward to discuss like before with you and all lovely members here.Best wishes.

Vandy You know me well, I am not here for money, god has given me enough i get 10$ in 3 months or more, this comes to 5 rupees per day, kalyani buys vegetables worth 100 to 150 daily. I will be here may be less visits.

You can surely count on me Vandana. I will always be here on mylot because earning was not the issue for me when I joined mylot.

I have to disagree with you on the following observation of mine. In the first place Bubblews or iWriter and mylot are in different leagues on many aspect. Mylot is a site which pays its members to post discussion or in other words a paid forum site which by far does not even have followers. I can understand if mylot wants to gain ground as far as quality is concern but this change of it becoming some other non paid forum site and molding it after some social networking site, is I would say the work of a nit twit. It is simply pariah and don't know where they get this ideology that they'd become another "Suckerburg" from another Valley. I felt that mylot could do more than being so unimaginative, silly, insensitive and a headless follower of sorts. I am sure some of the members including yourself here would have a better idea on how mylot could progress where I could even dare to bet my last dollar on all of you than that nit in mylot.

I am also staying. I am happier here, and I love being here. I have met nice people around the globe, and they have helped me answer my queries. Whether it pays or not. I'm still staying!

Hi Vandana Most of those comparisons of new MyLot seem to tell, that it is going to be a FB kind of thing or even maybe a simple forum. Doesnt matter as of now. But definitely, if I see a lot of spam, referral links being served to me and everytime I have to use their blocking options (as was suggested on the post from Admin) I guess, I will quit. Again, I would be happy to leave this place in case there are no more "Discussions". Of late, I have felt that the current MyLot has become a blog site for many where they can post anything which are nowhere near to the term - Discussion. I am waiting for the new version and I believe things would become clearer by the next few weeks as they have said the new version arrives this week. And if I leave, I know I will miss many of my friends but I have the contact details of a few of them. and I might also plan out something similar to the older MyLot which we all have loved so far...

Vandy....I must admit that I have very mixed emotions, an old dog does not like new tricks... I feel today, I will hold a "memorial service" for the old myLot, and move on with the new one, as I do NOT want to lose all of you precious jewels as friends, so will be here to react and respond. Losing the money hurts, as I, like others, used it to pay down my Internet bill, so I will just have to work harder. And I am in the retirement days of my life! I did not join myLot for money, I was brand new to the internet, as I live quite an isolated life. It was very nice to have the added "meager" income, and I almost became reliant on it....but so be it, move on! You are one of the very special persons this site allowed me to meet, and truly enjoy, and I can't break that bond...so I will be here, with many HUGZ for you, too!

Don't agree with you right now. We'll see. I'm hanging about until the new site and see what happens but I've already got alternative places to spend my time and not for money. Don't like how administration went about the whole thing...insulting and then patronizing us. Since you are stubborn and won't budge...I will stop by from time to time to harrass you. Alot of us are on the Mylot refugee camp now. You should consider it. {{{hugs}}}

I feel so confused now...money was not my primary reason for mylotting, but I'm new here...just a month or two, I think. I can't remember. That means I don't even have any close friendships to talk about. So now I don't know what to do....

That's one way to look at it :) I consider this as an opportunity to focus more on the other sites as well to increase my online earnings. However, there are members who solely rely on myLot for their income earnings. Now, they have to look at other sites to augment that needs.

i've never looked at the new mylot change in this point of view. you're right, vandana. those who are here solely for the money will go elsewhere. i logged in daily primarily for the joy of learning the different perspectives of people from all over the world. the cents piling up is my secondary motivation. i will still be here to check how it goes but i don't think i'll participate as often as i am doing now. i'll just read the discussions.

I have been on mylot since so many years, i am on mylot i am yet not clear if mylot is still paying or not because all this is so confusing for me still. Lets see. I have made friends here but they are no more here, but i think i will be there still because this is one place i let my frustrations out

I am staying until the best time I can. Hopefully I can find inspiration to stay more longer. Maybe I'll just here from time to time

I'm here a few minutes a day but I need to earn what I can. I'm at bubbles most of my time now. I check in mylot when I get notified though.
