To Stay Or to Go?

Hi behen It is too early to take the decision at least for me. I will be here for at least another month just to review the new MyLot. I am scared and will quit if I am flooded with adverts, referral links, spamming and more if there are no "Discussions". If mylot becomes a forum (this is where it seems to be headed to), I will be the first one to quit if I dont find my friends here. But as I said, as today, none of us know how things are going to be, I cannot guarantee my exit or my stay. But why do you fear of me leaving MyLot? We are more connected beyond mylot and that will continue as long as either of us is alive... just because we are family

Yes I am here for the money, and I always have been, and yes I will be leaving, I can't speak for anybody else,but I need money to pay my bills, and since I will no longer be getting that here, it will be time for me to go out the door, I hope everyone has fun, here the ones that will stay.

I will stay if enough other people do. when the dust settles, I am not sure. yesterday I predicted the site's demise, too many people leaving, too many spammers going to drop affiliate links all over the place, which will drive the rest of us away. Hope I was wrong...

I'm not sure yet what I'll do. I imagine most will leave.

I think many will leave, but most of those will stay for a while to see what happens with the site. In the end, I believe people will drift out of the site gradually. Most likely the site will close because myLot will stop paying.

I plan on staying with mylot. I have made many friends and learned so much on this site. I am looking forward to the changes. Maybe the new mylot will be better than the old mylot. I think that many members will be leaving. I have no idea how many but it should be interesting. Obviously those that are here just for the money will be leaving but what about the others who loved the discussions but also liked the money. I am in the latter group but keeping an open mind.

I have already been absent alot...due to my little business picking up and I have had quite a few orders lately which cuts into my mylot time. I think alot of people will go....no incentive to stay except for a few people they are friend with...and if you are already friends you probably have an alternative way to get in touch.

I haven't been on mylot for quite a long time, actually I haven;t realized the changes here but some alternation in the column, but the reason why I am here at the begining is not for money anyway,I have met so many good friends here in mylot, we still keep in touch with each other until now, I value the things mylot has give me, not for money,

I am staying, but only to more or less see where the site will end up. You also obviously didn't see what the original post said, it was like Lamby said, "a slap in the face" You can read what they removed in Lamby's post, his second reply here: http://www.mylot.com/w/discussions/2767639.aspx So that kind of made me think twice..

For me it wasn't the money. It was discussing or debating in topics that interest me. Now I have to wade through a plethora of discussions that mean nothing to me just to find one of interest. So far, I'm not finding anything that interest me. I will check now and then to see what's happening in Mylot, but I doubt I'll spend must time here anymore.

Hi Sarah: This is a nice decision. I haven't decided yet because I am still shocked. I am not here just for the money and I actually don't need this $10 I make in Mylot every two or three months but it was a good incentive. I think many people, specially in countries in need that were here exclusively for the money will have to leave and find something else to do. I won't take a decision until the changes will be implemented this week. I think that if Mylot has decided to make this big change, the site must be spectacular and be better than Facebook which is my main site to socialize with my friends. ALVARO

Honestly I have been here for both. I did and still do love MyLot. but I also liked the idea of that little financial incentive. I will stay a member and check in from time to time to post my referral links. But I will be elsewhere. And few other sites I use.

It is tough to say, but probably the members who are here to earn some money will their time use elsewhere.

I was not here all for the money but I do not now or ever like being lied to like they have done to us I will be here from time to time but I will not spend my whole day here any more I don't want to loose all my friends that I have made here

I wondered why it looked different when I was signing in. I didn't realize the site was changing until today. Where are the topics? I liked those. It would have been nice to receive an e-mail telling us about the change and then allowing people to decide on the e-mail what to do. I didn't join for the money and I'm not one of those people who actually comes here everyday. I liked posting and getting responses from it. I think I'm going to leave because I don't like the changes and the layout of this website. I think they should have told us the changes and asked us what we liked and had our say in how we would like this website. I guess MyLot done it to get more money. For others who made money on here though, I guess they would have to find something else. For those who were here for payments would probably be annoyed, especially if they didn't receive any payments owed, or came to the website done some posting and then just realized they won't get paid for it. Probably go off to those blogging sites that pay. Is there any news from them of what is happening, the reason why they have chosen to do this and whether they continue to run without payments or whether they are going to stay permanently without it? Goodbye. How can we cancel our account?

I will drop in and out to see what the new myLot will become. How active I will be depends on who else stays, and how much spam is dropped here and how much control we have to block people who just drop affiliate links. I don't mind promotional links in the context of a post that is naturally related. What I would not like is posts whose purpose is affiliate marketing and little else. Most of my activity will still be on Bubblews and lots of my myLot friends are already there. You have my email address so we can always stay in touch if we lose touch here. If I have to have surgery in June or after, I will probably have to drop everything for weeks, if not forever.
