Ipad Users: What issues have you had with your iPad? I have had a few

I recently learned that the iPad uses cellular data even when you are using Wi-Fi. I got a notice that I was nearing my data package limit and I would be charged $14 and change for more data. I searched on Google to see what the problem might be and I saw other people had the same thing happen to them. They said they had to turn the cellular data off in the settings in order for the data to not be used. I had no idea that it would continue to use data when you are plugged into Wi-Fi. I also noticed that my iPad will jump off Wi-Fi and go completely to data when I watch videos online. So I cut off the data so that won’t happen. I decided to write about this experience and include some advantages and drawbacks to using an iPad. If you would like to read the article and then come back and compare notes about any issues you are having, or what you like about yours, we can discuss it. You will find the article link here.

Oh I called AT&T this morning and complained about it. They removed the $14.95 over usage charge and said this should not have happened. They connected me to Apple and the tech support person had me go to settings and reboot the network settings. Then she had me play a video to see if it would jump off wifi and it didn't. She said if it ever happens again it is under warranty and she will give me the case number so I can exchange it for a new one.
