How it all got started.... and a few other things....

How did this happen? What were they thinking when they made this site? Well I have the story... The conversation went as follows. (note parody granted there might be truth to this who knows) A: How are we going to improve the site? B: Well people are here for the money and the discussions. C: Yeah, but after so many years do we really need to keep paying people. I am thinking a social network site but what will it look like? A: It has to be something new... something innovative... something never seen before. B: Oh oh! This might be a bit crazy but what if... get ready for this...*leans in close and mysterious like grinning with excitement* Twitter and Facebook got it on and had a baby. MyLot can be that baby. C: It's perfect!! *is beaming from ear to ear* A: Yes it is, but people would never go for this unless they were social outcast on the thousands of other forum and social networking sites. B: True. Hmmm... C: We can always tell them we are going to add ways to earn and then when we reveal the site is changing just say they can post their referral links. A & B: *nods in agreement* That will be perfect. C: Yep. I mean it is just $10. I am sure there are thousands of other ways for them to make money on the net like.. HYIP scams, ptc sites that never pay, surveys they might only qualify for one of and such things. B: *stretches a bit* Yes. Now we can go to sleep peacefully. --All leave-- Now that being said... I will be here for maybe a few more days. Honestly, I don't like Twitter that much and I have a facebook, I don't need another one. If anyone wants to keep in contact, please send me a message.
