Remember those terrible tomatoes I got from Save-a-Lot? Some of you said to stew them and I did. They turned out awesome! I made a meal of them by cooking spaghetti squash. I wrote an article about how I did it. For my first time, I think it all turned out quite well. Feel free to leave me a comment on Yahoo and also please share ideas about things you have done to keep from throwing food away.

When you buy fresh veggies that have gone past their prime, you don't have to throw them away. Try cooking them to make a meal.

Okay Aunt Hatley. Do that. My mom used to stew tomatoes and can them. They were so good. I would eat them straight out of the Mason jar. I had more spaghetti squash for lunch. Will have one stuffed chicken for supper. It's nothing I make. I found them in Walmart. There are 2 in a box and I bought 2 boxes.
