Will miss my earnings, my interests, and my rankings!

Mylot is definitely not the same anymore. Perhaps it is for the better, because the new format means mylotters will be coerced to post worth reading blogs, or quality literature. Now there's no rush-rush for the earnings. I do think that is important though. Unlike in other social networking sites, mylot made us feel good by compensating our work. And no matter how little our earnings are, the fact that we receive payment, that means a great lot. The various interests were exciting, too, and these interests helped guide us in our writing by making us focus on a particular issue or topic. Oh well... And the rankings, now I wouldn't see if my friends could ever beat the ones in the leaderboard. I sometimes take note of who are the ones really exerting great effort to reach the top, and I do commend them, ha ha. :) Well, mylot is different now, a little less exciting to me, I suppose, but let's see, perhaps there will be exciting features in the future. At this point, we just have to write, and who knows, our posts might open thresholds for greatness. See ya! And yes, where are the smileys? Mylot, you didn't deprive us of that, too, did ya?

So now, there won't be anymore non-discussions here like are your eyes green, brown or gray? Do you make your bed or leave it messy? I think the people who decide that mylot is STILL a worthwhile place to be will post when they really have something to offer. Also they can use mylot as a marketing tool so they can make money on the net. Some here were so eager to make their payout here they used mylot like Dear Diary. An example is like: I did this, this and this and my boyfriend left me and then he came back 6 more times and I've made 20 discussions about it already, but who's counting-I'm getting paid and that's all that matters. Those types of discussions will likely hit the dust. I still intend to write about things that concern me, but I won't make 30 posts telling you every time i turn around. I won't tell you about my bowel habits either.

@PointlessQuestions, you have a point. Unnecessary discussions will surely lessen. I just hope that more Mylotters will still opt to stay, although I very much doubt that I would be logging in here as often as I'd want to.

@mike197601 I think they have gone because they can't pull in their $2 a day or more now. One friend made a killing here before and it was mainly diary stuff that you would probably keep private in a diary or journal. Another one left too who did the same thing. Haven't seen them except to say they are bye bye.

I am going to miss the old Mylot, too. I have been online for hours now, reading posts and reactions of Mylot members, old and new. I wanted this site to change some of its features, but I didn't expect it to be so drastic.

@olliekobra1 Yes. Sorry. But if it will console you, I did not get my payment, too, and I wrote here more than four years. Mylot is just for the love of blogging,

@eileenleyva I didn't get my payment too. I'm truly going to miss the old Mylot. I'm still having some difficulties with the new format. @olliekobra1, last payment will be for those who had at least $5 on their account, which will be paid on the 15th of May.

I am not keen on the new style of My Lot with no earnings. I can't see any star or rankings anymore. I feel like a beginner and it doesn't seem as enjoyable as it used to be.

Yes, I was happy with my burning red star, sort of a badge of honor, and of course, I earned it. Mylot could have at least retained that.

The first paragraph of you post is past tense today. There are no rankings and no competetion et all... What is left over is that you can post links, spams and do many other things which they didnt allow you earlier... And yes, for the emoticons... they are down below due to the space crunch created due to these adverts... And the good thing is that you can create a discussion or response filled with only and only emoticons... no guidelines are available yet... so there are no violations

@eileenleyva I would have loved if most of them stayed back but I can very well understand when things with the one whom you love so deep start playing with your trust and emotions, things are surely going to get more messed up... never mind, I still have hopes that sometime sooner, things would start getting towards better for all of us who stayed back

Hi eileen. As of now I reall can't tell if I'll prefer the new over the old or vice versa. But honestly I'm starting to miss the old format. Anyway let's just watch and see how this new format unfolds.

Yup, I kinda miss the old format, too, I am so attuned to it. This one is like an ordinary blogging site.

hello! please help me, if you can, how can we check our earnings? or do we still earn here in mylot?

No more earnings, mylot has scrapped the earning program, totally. I would have thought that with so many mylotters becoming real lasting members, mylot would have earned, compensate us more, but apparently, that is not the case. So, mylot has become an ordinary blogging site, no more money here.

I miss my old mylot because I am not understanding new mylot. Where is new discussion link, where is earning shows link etc. But looks is good and I like the way group wise discussions like mylot showing how many discussions start on love, facebook etc. in different manner. Ohhh yes where is ranking and how can see it. I joined mylot after one week and suddenly see fully changed.

Hello new mylotter, mylot did let go of the earnings program, meaning we are just here to exchange thoughts and ideas, share opinions, and socialize. Hope that is still okay with you. I also joined mylot, initially for the earnings, but I have long accepted that mylot is not income generating for me, Hope you'd stay.

Hi, You are right. Everything is new here and there is no ranking, earnings and interests.. All the things are very confusing. Not enjoying it. I am very sad by mylot's new look.

We'd get used to the new format, in time. I do hope that mylot restores the interests and the rankings, those things are motivation enough to write,
