Found the mention of your discussion on another one from allknowing, searched and found. Whew!!!
In countries like India, there are millions who marry without any love involved as the families and traditions are older. We are told to believe that love will happen eventually and somewhat this works fine for them. During the long time they remain married, they start liking and loving each other. Today, many disapprove of this theory but the fact is that attachments grow stronger when you are physically together rather than when you are distant.

@kongno That is not right in Indian scenario. History has it that we had the lowest divorce cases until the recent past. The compatibility in marriages was and even today in many cases is decided by the Horoscopes which have seemed to have worked more than being accurate since ages. However today, many disagree and say that women had no rights but to follow - which of course is again historically wrong.

A lot of work needs to be done for a marriage to be successful. You know there are as many failed love marriages as there are arranged marriages. It is the effort one puts in to make a success of a marriage decides how successful or otherwise a marriage will be.
