question about repeaters / myLot

I'm ordering a repeater that is in the range 900/2100 mhz. Here where I live the available are 850 mhz and 2100 mhz. Will the repeater detect the 850 mhz band?

850Mhz and 900Mhz are two different bands. I am 99% sure that it will not work.

thats ok, 2100mhz is available anyway... w/ the tower a mile away, i just hope the repeater wouldn't fail me.
