myLot,
I know you've tried. And, given the nature of social networking, you might eventually achieve whatever goal it is you're after. But like a restaurant hoping its new menu will take off, the existing customer base is going to all but evaporate. Meat-eaters don't become vegans. You're abandoning hardcore bone-gnawers to bring in hipsters.
This is stuff taught to kids in school at a 10th grade level. And it's certainly stuff that the social networking giants know.
It's stuff that most people know in their everyday lives. Like: You don't bite the hand that feeds you, or if it ain't broke, don't fix it.
Have you been reading the hundreds of discussions wherein people are discussing finding alternatives to this site? Or saying how much it sucks? I'm not running a Fortune 500 over here, but that's a stinging indictment of the myLot brand. Do you want this to turn into a 100k vs. 0 social smear campaign? That's where it appears to be heading.
To quote Bruce Willis: There's wrong, and then there's wrong, and then there's this.
But good luck on the self-interested pocket-padding. It may be at the expense of people whose efforts made myLot a good site to begin with, but I'm no commie.
