Mylot still has a porpuse!

Mylot doesn't pay any more? I'm not here for several weeks,it's news for me.Sadly,I just earn 1$ more,and it's gone now. But just like you said,I'm here not for money,just for communication.I'll stay here.

if they took out the earnings first, but retained the old format, people would still use it because they still have ties to this place and the people they've bonded with here. but they come back to a place that's totally different they have no idea how to use it because they don't even know where everything is, so they get frustrated and leave. if they changed things one step at a time, the effect would not be as drastic and members wouldn't feel so bad.

I don't like the new interface and most of my friends disappearing. There are hardy any new travel discussions.

I still want to use mylot for talking but I have no one to talk with. all of them left the place.

HI, MyLot has changed and many users don't agree with that change. However, I think that other people will stay here if they feel that the community sense, which is worth, has not changed..

I think the changes will bring other changes (already have) that will make elasticbeanstalk different than Mylot. It is true that membership has the biggest effect on any change. - my opinion

That's how I feel, too. Some sites pay money. Some pay in points. Some pay in gift cards. Some just pay with the satisfaction of knowing that you have a place to express yourself and meet other people. Some are better than others. I believe that MyLot had a good thing going for awhile and--even if we don't make a single cent directly from it--it has the potential to even become better than its former self. We need our workplaces where we can make money, but, even in real life, not every place we visit is a moneymaking place. A favorite restaurant, snack stop, corner bar, etc. aren't places we go to make money unless we happen to work there. However, they're places for minds to meet and exchange ideas. There are virtual sites like this, too, with one of them being Facebook. It looks as if this is what MyLot might end up being--though it might do something such as run contests from time to time with cash prizes. Anyway, you're here and I'm here!

exactly....many people left... a lot of people that i know left the site too..it's sad.. i love mylot with their discussions and meet a lot of people. Money is one side bonus for me... but now, feeling a little bit alone in here...T_T

Me no like! Change is too strange. I still want to visit with my friends ever so often but me really no like changes.

I like the new mylot layout, nevertheless I decided I still comment here, here is fun and caring than other sites.

I agree with you, but although I have been always interested in this site as a social site, I find that most of my friends are leaving and that I haven`t yet discovered the new way to start a post myself.

Although many said they were not here for money they have left and joined sites that pay. myLot is just the same except that it does not pay and whatever they paid was a pittance compared to the time one spent. Once you get to understand the new lay out it is not difficult at all.Unfortunately many have left and I miss them. It is calmer to participate when there is no money involved.
