As some of my long time friends (followers?) here know, I am a musician playing in a band named Th13rteen Years. You can find us here on mylot @Th13rteenYears and on facebook. Some of you also know that this past December, our bass player and long time friend succumbed after long battle with cancer. I had never been more proud and honored to have shared a stage with someone. I'm talking about a guy who checked himself out of a hospital over a hundred mils away, against medical advice, to play a show last year....yeh, he was like that. We recently played at an annual concert with 9 other bands at our local theater last month. This years show was a charity event to benefit his children. We successfully raised in excess of $2000 and have more people to thank than we can ever begin to. You can read more about this event here:
