Imagine what you have a house and you rent it to a family. But they don't pay you for many months and don't respect you or your place. What will you do? A normal person will kick them out. But the this family have kids and they not poor. Will it be fare to kick and the kids out? Of course! They "pay" for the mistakes of their parents and have to move out. Does that story seems familiar to you? What happens almost 6000 years ago. At the Edem garden. The God created the 2 humans and give them one simple rule: don't eat from ONE tree among of thousands of others. But they wanted more and show disrespect to the Creator. So he kicks them out of the Edem. So now they lost the close connection with the God, lost they perfect health and start to get old and die. And their kids too and so do we. But someone may say: THAT'S UNFAIR! Can't the God think of something else? But who knows better? The creator or the creation? (Job 38:4) But he has planed a better future for us.. I will talk about it next time.

according to the bible, God grants us free will, and if we choose to disobey his laws, we have to pay the consequences. Thankfully God is a Loving and forgiving God and allows us to make and learn from our mistakes...

G*d set it up so we are stewards (over whatever we control). And stewards either pay tribute (a franchise fee) or lose the stewardship. Our franchise-fee was 'following that one rule,' and failing to do that Eve & Adam made the whole race "fallen." Which brings up the question: if we were no longer 'of G*d' until His Son brought us back in, why is it that people still served Him all through the OT?
