Imagine your dream house. Imagine what you are ready to build it. You bought the land, the tools and the materials, to build your house of dreams. So at the weekend you are heading for the land you bought but you see what there is already a fundamental builded up there. It's the remains of the old house what was there. And now you have 2 options: 1) Build on top of that fundamental. That means what your dream house changes and it may even fall by the time because of the weak fundamental. 2) Or you can break down the old basement and build a new one. What will you do? A lazy person would choose the first option. But imagine what you choose the second one. You are ready to Demolished the basement, but from nowhere a group of people start to yell at you to stop. They saying that those basements it's a from an old building and you shouldn't change nothing. That's example reminds me the people who saying what you shouldn't change your faith, because it's a Betrayal. But does it? When I was born nobody asked me: what religion would you like to have? But they christened me in the water. Now I see what I'm not agree with they believes, but I found a religion what I truly believe what is the right one. Does this make me a traitor? I want to build my own "dream religion" not on some old basement becose my parent's do that. I want to build it on the Gods foundament, just like he show us. (Isaiah 30:21)

That is a really good comparison. Religion, like the basement is something that the "owner" of the property (or body, soul, spirit) should have the say so. I was never raised in any certain religion but brought my children up in a specific one. I encouraged them to keep an open mind and choose what they felt was right. I have three kids that have chose three different paths. I have never felt there was one true and right religion. The way I see it, I gave them all a foundation to start with and they can build from that foundation or start all over and build what their heart feels to be right.
