Writing for Shvoong

I have read lots of people here writing about Shvoong and wanting to know if you can make money from it. I will offer you my experience of writing for it since 2010 I have written over a hundred articles in 3 years aiming for quality not quantity.Over that time I have been read by 4500 people, not many, but numbers going up everyday, and made less than two dollars. I will not get paid until I reach ten dollars. it depends how many people access the advertisements on the page, and you need to have hundreds or thousands looking at them every day. Some writers have achieved this, but what annoys me that some of these articles have been rated high quality but written in bad english and to put it bluntly are pure crap and not worth reading. It would appear that the writers friends have clicked on them t housands of times, and given them give five star ratings all the time. so it is easy to get published there, and sorry to be rude, being a moron does not cause a problem. recently they have started rejecting articles, and have removed several of mine for unexplained reasons.Over 20000 other people have been affected they have told me, but I am demanding that they tell me why, when they allow so much illiterate crap to stay on the site.If you are going to write, write in your native language, and don't attempt to use computers to translate other languages into English, because unless you have perfect understanding of what the second language is saying, you will end making a fool of yourself, writing rubbish. If you don't understand English well, don't write in it, write in your own language. I write for Shvoong not to make money because it is far too difficult to do so unless you get thousands to read it daily. I enjoy the fact that I am informing people and that some students who have rated my work have found it useful.

I did a minor research/reading about shvoong. But honestly with the 10% revenue they share (if im not mistaken about the %) it's just not worth it... Any other Squidoo, HubPages etc etc etc offer higher revenue sharing plus im sure are rated higher in search engines just by being the sites they are. Im not sure about the rules on Shvoong, but maybe those other guys promoted their articles on traffic exchanges and their blogs and their social networking sites and and and and also told their friends to rate the articles. Spam/fake comments etc... So maybe that's why those other guys with bad english as you say got to be what they are... Im just saying...
