Meekness Should Not Be Considered Weakness

If you wish to ride over difficulties, meekness is the way for you. You can not touch greatness if you are proud. Soft words cost nothing but pay everything. Humility is the only quality which makes man an angel. Pride ends in destruction, humility ends in honour. I think that there is no penance more effective than patience. There is no disease more fatal than lust and no virtue richer than meekness.To be humble to the superiors is duty, to equals courtesy and to inferiors nobleness.
