Few days from now, I'll be 31. OMG! I don't want to get old. But who has a choice?
Birthday is one of the most special events on a person's life. It is because the person will have to step up one level. For the young ones it's very exciting but for the adults, it's pressure!
I am an adult. So it's pressure.
Analyzing oneself, what have I achieved? What were the things that I did to help others - my family, friends and my society?
I don't know. In fact, I'm not yet happy and satisfied with my life. I want to do something unusual. I want to explore the world.
Can I still do that? I am a housewife with two kids. My husband is out of the country for work. I am working as an ESL teacher.
Sometimes when I am browsing on my friends photos in Facebook, I feel envious. They have photos of themselves in front of a tourist spot local and international. Their weddings are so inspiring. So much style.
Anyway, my dream is to go around the world but of course I can't just do that in a snap of a finger because I am not well of. I need to work to save more. But how can I save? I am just here dwelling in a four-cornered house.
I'll be 31 soon and I have regrets..a lot.

i have a few years on you.....and totally get what you say......yet in totally different ways. I am 33, (well actually only 32.....but coming close to 33) and i have the same insecurities about my life as you......except in a different light.......yes....i am still envious of the people who have traveled the world and take a vacation every year to a different tourist "hot spot".....but at the same time i am almost 33 years old and envy at times the life of people like yourself.... i still look at all the pics my friends post of simple family get to-gethers and feel envious/sad. (though please keep in mind, i am STILL not someone able to afford a life of trips and vacations and luxury, even though it is just me and my boyfriend....so i am envious of those awesome looking vacation pics as well!!)

Hello Mayla happy birthday! I´m almost a decade over you. You are so young! I have three teens now. I have been a working-from-home mom and I have been voluteering in the last 18 years. But I have worked hard to become more than this. You are still so young and you can do many things!
Happy birthday!... Dainy
