Spiritual Peace Is Impossible without Renunciation

Perfect peace can dwell only where all vanity has disappeared.Thus peace is the name of total surrender to God.He who is united his will with the will of God,enjoys a perpetual peace everytime. Peace can not be kept by force,it can only be achieved by understanding.Where there is no peace,there is no limit of suffering. Five enemies of peace inhabit with us; viz. avarice,ambition,envy,anger and pride. If those enemies were to be banished, we should infallibly enjoy perpetual peace.
