Are you short sighted? do you wear glasses? How strong are your glasses?
I am short sighted and have a pair of glasses.
it is not convenient to be short sighted, isn't it? and you will find out that your eyes become smaller and smaller,, isn't it?? i haven't seen lot of western people wearing glasses, Are they not suffering the short sight or are they wearing contact lens most of the time? T^T

I agree with you. Because I have to wear glasses for a long time. Just started wearing glasses,I can't accept the fact that I'm short sighted. I feel very uncomfortable. But now, I love my glasses. they are strong, they are such as my favorite friend. are you Chinese? Nice to meet you~

I wear glasses, and have for most of my life....well actually i spent about 5 or 6 years wearing contacts...and occasionally think of going back to them, but have not yet. My glasses are VERY strong. The way one eye doctore explained it to me....what most people should be able to see at 20 feet (sorry i don't know the metric equivalent distance if that is what you use) but at 20 feet of distance with perfect vision is like six inches in front of my face for me.
As to not seeing many westerners with glasses, well, i see a LOT of them...though i suppose many many many people do wear contacts now. So i don't think it is that out eye sight is any better or anything.
As to your comment about eyes getting smaller due to bad eyesight, are you referring to squinting? (narrowing your eyes to focus better?) if so, with out my glasses, yes i suppose my eyes DO have to get smaller if i want to see anything LOL
