Have you ever written a poem or a short story?

Do you have any thoughts you would like to pass along to young writers?

Well, follow you heart when it comes to writing, when a thought comes to mind write it down, or carry a mini tape recorder with you. For me, I write everything down and thn I go back when I have a quite moment and I type it all out and then i put it in order. If your writing a short story then you need to have a constant flow and chapters, therefore when you are typing just title it before 1 or after 1 and then when you get all complete thoughts you can go back and put it in order or change it around. I have found that it is really simple to write, just let it flow. proofread is a must, in my books I have words that most people do not use due to the kind of poetry it is and therefore some words are not really in the english dictionary. my publisher asked me to correct the typos and I said NO it is SPOKEN WORD POETRY and when you read it alound that is the way the words are pronounced. hope this helps
